Distributism III
Here is some interesting commentary on Distributism. I hope Brian can help guide us further into this ideology.

I have only one problem with Distributism: how it is actually accomplished. If you have to force people to stop being "wage slaves" or force people to stop employing "wage slaves," then all Distributist talk of freedom is just that: talk. If Distributists are going to achieve their subsistence paradist via persuasion, then more power to them.

Jenna, my main disagreement with the distributists is that most of them see concentration of property as an inherent tendency of the market, and see state intervention as necessary to promote widespread distribution. I think the situation is pretty much the opposite. If we abolished state subsidies to the concentration of wealth, the ends of distributism would be accomplished through the market.
