On your link, just below the article, is a quote from NM gov Bill Richardson. "If you want a high-wage economy you have to pay higher wages," he says. But Richarson has been big in NM politics for at least 15 years. He is well known in DC and I've heard his name and "Prez" in the same breath before. Why else would he be travelling all over the country giving speeches?

I had heard about a fellow from NM around here and there, but I didn't think much of him.
He sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Just pay people more money -- why the hell didn't the rest of us think of that?
