The Legend of Kilroy
I was interesting in where this came from and what it is supposed to mean.

Haha I always wondered where that guy came from.
I also remember seeing "Kilroy was here" in a bunch of war movies and having no clue why.

Also of note it's on the WWII monument in D.C. in a small area off to the side... you'd never see it if you weren't looking for it.
