Mass vaccination 'will save lives'

This would just replace one faulty system with another. According to the article, women in the UK are currently screened only every three years for signs of cancer. Also according to the article, the vaccines would "replace" that system.
Problems abound. First, women should be screened for cervical cancer once a year, not once every three. In free-market-ish systems (like the US), every year is the norm. Second, vaccination against HPV doesn't prevent all cervical cancer. So with vaccines, but no screenings (even infrequent), some women will still this (very treatable) cancer, never find out about it, and die.
Great plan. Really.
